i hate i ready
You are student number 427, You are in a school computer lab given lessons on "i-Ready", You were told Which subject it is and what it teaches you, You've been listening to their shit propaganda's for days, In the form of poorly animated characters and computerized voices, And stuff that makes it look like its a little kids game. You spent all day completing lessons, one by one until there were no more lessons.
You click on your lesson and it is stuck on the i-ready logo
You spend no more than 4 solid minutes staring at the i-Ready logo waiting for your lesson to load.
Nobody was in there to tell you what to do, call in a meeting or even leave a note.
yep, that sorta happened to me once. anyways, i'll be ranting on this thing called i-Ready..
Now, i used to go on the computer from 4th through 5th grade and do this thing called "i-Ready".
i-Ready is not a popular trend, But some students are known to hate it.
Basically, i-Ready was a replacement for another online learning site called "Compass odyssey" for me.
it basically had some subjects such as reading, math, etc.
however, it wasn't a very good thing for teaching and heres why.
Honestly, The animations and the characters made i-Ready look like a preschooler's game but hey, At least they didn't use any sock-puppets and weird looking polygon's like "compass odyssey" did.. Another thing i'd like to complain about is how easy they were for me, I've been told i'd get "harder lessons" but they don't try.
For the characters i was given, They looked like they were ripped off some weird anime, or something i would've made into an OC like this character.. It looks like goanimate's "cartoon classics" theme but in a different turn, Their voice acting makes it look like they just used a speech synthesizer. And sometimes you'd get these minigames at the end, Even if "My stuff" is disabled, you'd still be able to play these.. And the music there is annoying, A 12 second loop of something that sounds like this i don't know.
However, there is another iteration of these "animations" called erm.. "Rise over run" i think.. where the characters themselves look like umm.. Spoon-drawn? I don't know, It looks like they are Chavvies or some sort, They are all stereotypes. Looking back at this now, I'd have to admit, it was a better change of pace, but the animation seems to look as ugly as what i was given, The characters look like they were ripped off a video game.
Anyways, asides from the animations, I-Ready is known to have some glitches in their lessons, but i don't think i encountered any before.. However, I feel as if they should be fixing these glitches.. I don't know.

Why i-Ready sucked
basically, i-Ready was another computer teaching tool thats not very good.. maybe its either the computer's fault or the teacher's fault.. I felt as if i've been jacked on i-Ready. as it gave me stuff i already knew. it's animations were crappy, and so were its characters. I'd probably do a better job if i tried. Anyways, Judging by the animations and characters, I'd know if i was given something "better" or "worse".. and mostly, it was "worse" as it gives me stuff i already knew to make me look smart.Honestly, The animations and the characters made i-Ready look like a preschooler's game but hey, At least they didn't use any sock-puppets and weird looking polygon's like "compass odyssey" did..
